In California most insurance companies do not cover homeopathic treatment. If you have a pre-tax Uncovered Medical Expense Account or Health Savings Account we can provide a statement of expenses to be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Health Freedom Act

Passed in 2001, this legislation allows homeopaths to practice legally in California. It requires that we clearly define to the patient that we do not diagnose illness, and we must disclose to the client, in a written statement using plain language, the following information:

• Homeopaths are not licensed physicians
• The treatment is alternative or complementary to healing arts services licensed by the state
• The services to be provided are not licensed by the state
• The nature of the services provided
• The theory of treatment upon which the services are based
• The homeopath’s education, training, experience and other qualifications regarding the services to be provided
